October is not too far away! I decide to share this little buddy pattern with you, so you can have plenty of time to crochet it before the actual Halloween come.

I choose Pumpkaboo the share with you because he really match the Halloween theme, ghost and pumpkin, and of cause cute!

As you may know or not know that I just move oversee to study Msc in Edinburgh, and I still cannot find any good spot for shooting the video yet. This video was record at my room's window so the light may change during crochet. Moreover all the light in my room are yellow, which make the video more blurry. So I will stick with this window for more video until I can find an affordable whit light lamp.

It's Pokemon Go fever, everybody around me talking and playing Pokemon Go. Then why don't make some pokeballs. This is my version of pokeball. Simple pattern, no special stitches need. The size is really good for making a key chain. I hope you guys like this.

Pattern Notes
-sc = single crochet
-sl = slip stitch
-ch = chain
-sc2tog = decrease
-invdec = invisibla decrease

Material: 4 ply worsted weight yarn
I used local brand named "eagle"
3.5mm. hook, I used 6/0 japanese tuplip hook.

Start with white yarn.

Change to black yarn
1 ch, sl all around.
Fasten off.

Put the button part over button's ring part and sew everything together. Then put this button set on the pokeball itself and sewing them to attach. If you don't like the idea of sewing, you can also glue them, but be careful not to put too much glue, so it not clearly visible and reduce chance to dirty other part.

To be honest I don't like his finished face, I prefer pikachu with mouth close. But my brother, he said he want pikachu to smile mouth open wide. So I end up made what he requested.

Free Amigurumi Crochet Chubby Parrot Pattern

My father is part of the bird watching club, and he ask me for some small crochet birds that he can use for decorated his car. So I made this two chubby parrot for him. And what funny is my friend ask are these two goldfish? Ahh may be next time I will try crochet some goldfish, or should I improve the parrot design so it resemble the bird more. LOL

After he got this two, he requested for more smaller birds key chain (with various type of birds), for souvenir for his friends. I still didn't make them for him. If I am in mood of crochet birds, I will share the patter with your guys. ;) 

I crochet them last year, so it will be only written pattern and no video tutorial. The pattern was written in standard american term.

Leave some length of yarn then fasten off. Using the yarn you left to embroidery to line on the eyes to give more dimension to eyes. Then also using that same yarn to sewing to attach them to body part. You can also glue them, if you really hate sewing, but be careful not to put too much glue, so it not clearly visible and reduce chance to dirty other part.

After finished crochet, sewing or gluing every parts together. I add some strap at the top of both head, so my father can hang them in his car. You can leave it just like this as use them as a decoration doll. It is also a good idea to use them as a gift to a bird lover couple. I also have an idea of putting them together on some wood branch and hang them from the ceiling or tree, would also be a good idea, don't you think.

Free Amigurumi Little Heart Pattern

Free Amigurumi Crochet Heart Pattern

I've seen many variation of crochet hearts through out the past year. Most of them are in the medium size version, and some of them not shape like the heart shape that I want it to be. So I think one of you may feel the same and want the pattern for small size heart that fast and cute to make.

This little crochet heart can be use as clip decoration, ornament or decorate other doll. The pattern is simple and short with just 8 rows of it.

Pattern instruction 

Rnd1: Make an adjustable ring and work 6 sc in the ring, sl :: 6 stitches
Rnd2: 1 ch, [2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd3: 1 ch, sc in next 12 stitch, sl :: 12 stitches
Fasten off and cutting the yarn.
Then make second piece and continue Rnd4 without cutting the yarn.
Rnd4: 1 ch, sc in next 24 stitch, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd5: 1 ch, [sc in next stitch, sc2tog] 8 times, sl:: 16 stitches

Saitama - One punch man amigurumi

Saitama - One punch man amigurumi free pattern

"One punch man" is japanese anime that I recently watch. The theme is so simple one man who can defeat villain with just one punch. I think this anime is more into comedy genre more than action, and it make this anime very enjoyable to watch. From the picture below, I add the quote that Saitama, the main character, our doll, had say in the first episode on the speech bubble. LOL

I was really excite while making this video tutorial. First I have to say that while I was record the tutorial, I don't have this pattern in hand yet. I just recorded and imagined at the same time. So, at some part of tutorial you may find it not continuing. I cutting out the unnecessary part so the video won't be to long.(Even though it end up with 3 parts, lmao)

I used the picture of Saitama Nendoroid as a model. And I just realize that my doll has smaller head than the model. But I think if I make him in the same proportion, he may not be able to stand. I also surprise when he took his first stand, I didn't expect that at all. I just have a feeling like, hmm may be he can stand let's try it, if he cannot just cut this part out of the video. And eventually he can stand!! I don't know how to express my joyful at that time. I hope you guy like the pattern. I write it in standard American terms.

Optional for eyes, instead of crochet them, you can cut some white felt sheet into oval shape and using them to decorate as eyes. This option come with more advantage, you can just use permanent pen to dot his black eyes! Sound easy, right? But beware not to dirty the ink, since it permanent. Also red felt sheet can be cut to triangular shape for his mouth too.

To be honest I think I didn't do well on the cape job, so you're encourage to modified it to look better! After you are finished crochet every parts sewing them attach together. But if sewing is annoying job for you, and if you are not familiar with sewing you doll may not turn out as you want. Tip is to make sure that they are symmetry for both arms and legs. You can also glue them, if you really hate sewing that much, but be careful not to put too much glue, so it not clearly visible and reduce chance to dirty other part.
