Nyanko Sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou

Natsume Yuujinchou is one of my favorite anime with heart warming story. I crocheted Nyanko Sensei 2 years ago. Since that time there are several people keep asking about the pattern. And finally the pattern was published!! Moreover I add key chain version as a free gift include in the listing.



This pattern is really HUGE pattern bigger than my Pikachu pattern, since I use smaller hook and yarn but the finished sized is similar.

Finished size from head to tail
- 50 cm. with 2.25 mm crochet hook or Japanese size 3/0.
-Should be about 2 meters with 5.0 mm. hook.



The key chain version size is about 3 inches from head to tail.

 

For the Big version, as I said above, I crochet it 2 years ago, which I still did not has a good camera. So as you can see from below, the image quality is quite poor compared to the key chain version.

If you are concerned by the quality of image, do not worry, since you can use the higher quality image on key chain pattern as an alternative guide.

Crochet Coaster Video Tutorial and Pattern

It has been a long time since the last time I post the tutorial or pattern. To be honest there are many things happen to me at the same time, and I cannot handle them properly. That's why I disappear for such a long time both on this blog and facebook page.

OK, now I gonna get to the point of this post, the crochet coaster! Actually I don't have a plan to use it as a coaster in my kitchen. I plan to decorate my home's window with little yarn bomb but before I can do that I have to prepare some crochet pieces. That's the reason this video tutorial is coming out, and there will be another tutorial following.

Materials

-Japanese Tulip brand crochet hook size 4/0 which equal to 2.5 mm.

-4 ply worsted weight yarn (All Thai local brand)

     - Venus brand for blue yarn

     - Eagle brand for red and yellow yarn

Pattern instruction

Rnd 1: 4 ch, 12 dc in the 1st chain, sl

Rnd 2: 4 ch, [dc in the next stitch, 1 ch] repeat , sl 

Rnd 3: 3 ch, [dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the loop] repeat , sl

Rnd 4: 5 ch, [skip 1 stitch, dc in the next stitch, 2 ch] repeat , sl 

Rnd 5: 3 ch, [3dc in the loop, dc in the next stitch] repeat , sl

Rnd 6: 2ch, [skip 1 stitch, sc in the next stitch, 2 ch] repeat , sl 

Rnd 7: sl in the next loop, 1ch, [sc in same loop, 5dc in the next loop] repeat, sl

Fasten off.

Crochet Hook Size Conversion

For most of my work I frequently use Japanese size 5/0 for 1 strand of yarn and 6/0 for 2 strand or bigger size yarn.
