Chibi Moltres Pokemon Free Crochet Pattern

First I was planned to upload this tutorial on Christmas, but I cannot finished the video editing in time. So I postpone it to the New year eve instead. :D
I am not very good at talking, so wish you all happy new year and thank you for staying with me in wonderful 2016. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

This is Moltres even though it also look like some bird from angry bird, but I still insist that this is Moltres, a baby Moltres, LoL.

One of the legendary pokemon, from pokemon generaation I. I also have pattern for Articuno and Zapdos too. If yo like this Chibi version of them, Don't forget to check it out ;)


ABBREVIATION
sc- single crochet
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
sl- slip stitch
ch- chain




Body with orange yarn
Rnd1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 6 stitches
Rnd2: 1 ch, [2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd3: 1 ch, [sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 18 stitches
Rnd4: 1 ch, [sc in next 2 stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd5: 1 ch, [sc in next 3 stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 30 stitches
Rnd6 - Rnd11: 1 ch, sc in next 30 stitch, sl :: 30 stitches
Rnd12: 1 ch, [sc in next 3 stitch, sc2tog] 6 times, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd13: 1 ch, sc in next 24 stitch, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd14: 1 ch, [sc in next 2 stitch, sc2tog] 6 times, sl :: 18 stitches
Rnd15: 1 ch, sc in next 18 stitch, sl :: 18 stitches
Rnd16: 1 ch, [sc in next stitch, sc2tog] 6 times, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd17: 1 ch, [sc2tog] 6 times, sl :: 6 stitches
Fasten off, and sew hole closed.

Wings with orange yarn
Rnd1: 4 ch, 6 dc in the 1st chain, :: 6 stitches
Change to red yarn.
Rnd2: 3ch, skip 1, sc in next stitch, [3ch,  sc in next stitch] 4 times, sl.
you should finish with 5 feathers.
Leave some length of yarn and Fasten off.
Sewing both wing on Rnd10.

Eyes
Rnd1: 2 ch, 4 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 4 stitches
Leave some length of yarn and Fasten off.

Beak
Rnd1: 2 ch, 3 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 3 stitches
Rnd2: 1 ch, sc in next 3 stitch, sl :: 3 stitches
Leave some length of yarn and Fasten off.
Sewing the beak between both wings.

Tail start with orange yarn
Rnd1: 11 ch, sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, 3 sc in next stitch
Change to red yarn.
Rnd2: sl in next stitch, 2 ch, sl in next stitch, 2 ch, sl in next 6 stitch, 3 ch, sl in same stitch, [3 ch, sl in next stitch] 4 times, [skip 1, 4 hdc in next stitch, skip 1, sl in next stitch] 2 times, sc in next 4 stitch, sl in next stitch.
Leave some length of yarn and Fasten off.

Comb start with orange yarn
Rnd1: 12 ch, sl in the 2nd ch from hook, sl in next stitch, sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, hdc in next 6 stitch, 3 hdc in next stitch. Fasten off.
Rnd2: Change to red yarn. Start at first sl of Rnd1.
2 ch, sl in the 2nd ch from hook, sl and start point, sl in next 4 stitch, [2 ch, sl in next stitch] 2 times, [2 ch, sl in same stitch, sl in next stitch] 5 times, sl in next 3 stitch.
Leave some length of yarn and Fasten off.

Chibi Articuno Pokemon Free pattern

Chibi Articuno Pokemon Free Crochet Pattern

Sorry, for disappear so long, I got trapped in my exam. Good news is there are going to be 3 tutorials, within this year, since last month I only post one. Let's back to this tutorial, I planed to crochet the three legendary birds pokemon, for sometime now. I think at this point, you can guess what is going to be in the next 2 videos. ;)




This is Articuno even though it also look like an owl, but I still insist that this is Articuno, a baby Articuno, LoL. But if you are not into pokemon things, you can also assume that this one is an owl. LoL

Body with light blue yarn
Rnd1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 6 stitches
Rnd2: 1 ch, [2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd3: 1 ch, [sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 18 stitches
Rnd4: 1 ch, [sc in next 2 stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 24 stitches

Sewing it between Rnd4 and Rnd11.

Wing with light blue yarn

Leave some lenght of yarn and Fasten off.
Sewing both wing on Rnd10.

Eyes
Rnd1: 2 ch, 4 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 4 stitches
Leave some lenght of yarn and Fasten off.

Tail with dark blue yarn
Rnd1: 12 ch, sl in the 2nd ch from hook, sl in next stitch, sc in next 2 stitch, hdc in next 2 stitch, dc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, sc in next 2 stitch, sl in next stitch
Leave some lenght of yarn and Fasten off.

Comb with dark blue yarn
Rnd1: 4 ch, 3 dc in the 1st chain :: 3 stitches
Rnd2: 3 ch, [2 dc in next stitch] 3 times :: 6 stitches
6 ch, sl in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 stitch, skip 2 st, sl in next stitch,

I don't know why, but everytime when I saw this Articuno sitting on my desk, it made me thinking of Easter egg. Or may be because he has a body shape that look like an egg. LOL

DOTA 2 - Phoenix Octo crochet pattern



I know the game called "DOTA", but I never once try to play this game. Not because of it's a bad game or anythings, I just afraid that I will be addicted, lol. I am a type of person that easily addicted to games so I always avoid playing game that need to take time for playing. When my brother hand me a sketch of some little chick(in my point of view) and request for a key chain of this character, so I decide to made it and why not sharing it.

Body
Rnd1: 2 ch,6 sc in the 1st chain, sl :: 6 stitches
Rnd2: 1 ch, [2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd3: 1 ch, [sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 18 stitches
Rnd4: 1 ch, [sc in next 2 stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd5: 1 ch, [sc in next 3 stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] 6 times, sl :: 30 stitches
