Free Chowder Hat Crochet Tutorial

ภาษาไทยเลื่อนไปดูด้านล่าง

For this video, I decided to go back to the same way that I used to do which is a tutorial without narration. Due to the length of the video, editing was really hard and my pc keeps freezing many times, so I decide to keep it simple.

I already make 3 Chowder hat from this pattern and every time it looks the same. So there shouldn't have any problems with the pattern ut if you spot any error that may come from a typo, please noticing me, so I can fix it. Thank in advance.

I am so tried right now and really don't know what I should write here, so let's get straight to the tutorial. Hope you guys like it.

From Rnd23 is the process of making ear cover, if you don't want the ear covor, you can finish the hat at the point and fasten off the yarn.

Rnd32: * 3 ch, dec, dc in next st, dec, flip :: 3 stitches

Cut the yarn and fasten off.
From the finish point, count 29 st away and start the second ear cover(Repeat Rnd23-Rnd32) from that point.
(If you have the feeling that it not the right position, believe in your instinct and start at the point you feel the most symmetry.)
sl all around the edge.

Rirakkuma Bear from San-X Crochet Pattern

Hello everyone. I am so sorry for a long disappear. I was working on my master dissertation and after that, I was busy packing and preparing for moving back to Thailand. This tutorial is one of the most annoying for video editing(laugh and cry at the same time). The file is big because I increased the resolution to 1080p, so I have to divide the video into chunks. These big chunks are making my editing program lacking so much, and losing my progress a couple of time. Eventually, I am successful editing it! And the final video file is 14.8GB, OMG, it ginormous! The first attemp to upload this video was fail and it stuck at the processing process for 22 hours, so I have to re-upload it for the second time.

This tutorial is a bear called "Rilakkuma" (リラックマ Rirakkuma). It is a Japanese character from company San-X. Even though you don't know its name, but I think you will still like the way it looks. Free Jigglypuff Crochet Pattern.

Finally, Jigglypuff is published!!
There were a lot of obstacles for making this video tutorial. First the overwhelming assignments and proposal for my dissertation and when everything were done, the exam is right in front of me! Such a stressful month. And after exam, I have 1 week vacation before summer dissertation start, but I lost my crochet hook! It definitely somewhere in my room, but I couldn't find it. Even though I throughroughly clean my room, and look at every place I could think of, I still couldn't find it. So I have to use my spare hook, the purple that you see in part2 of the tutorial. I don't like this purple hook, the tip is too sharp, so it tends to hook the small fiber of the yarn all the time, and it makes weird noise when I crocheting. And the most important thing is it hurt my wrist. I think if I still cannot find my usual golden one, I have to consider buying a new one. And hope the new one won't hurt my wrist. If you know any good crochet hook brand in UK please tell me. :)

Ok, enough of complaining and let's get back to our Jigglypuff tutorial.

I make it bigger than my usual doll size I made for Youtube video. Most of my free pattern dolls are quite of similar size. I remember that Jigglypuff evolves from Igglypuff, so it slightly bigger than the Igglypuff. So I intend to make it in the same proportion as they are in anime. But when I finish making the Jigglypuff, I regret a little bit. I should make him the same size as my other dolls. If I want to keep going with this proportion things, Wigglypuff will be too big to fit on a screen. As you can see at the end of the video, my Jigglypuff is perfectly fit the screen and nearly out of the screen. LOL.

Rolling the smaller side to curl it up, and sewing to attach the curl, before sewing the hair to its body.
There's no need to stuffing the hair, but if you want, stuff it slightly, not too much. It will make his hair popping up too much and look weird.
