I just realize that I didn't post any for almost 2 months! I just finish my last exam straight back to my room to finish editing this tutorial for you guys. This tutorial is not the one I firstly plan to post, I record this one while I was taking a break from my proposal. It easy and simple coaster, very enjoyable to make. I really like it that I think I should make more with a different design LOL.
The pattern was written in crochet standard American term.
MATERIALS:
4 ply worsted weight yarn, I used local brand named "Eagle"
3.5mm. hook, I used 6/0 Japanese tulip hook.
ABBREVIATION
sc- single crochet
dc - double crochet
sl- slip stitch
ch- chain
st - stitch
[ ] - repeat instruction in parenthesis
inc - increase = 2sc in same stitch OR 2 dc in the same stitch (Please read the instruction)
sc2tog - decrease single crochet
BLO - Back loop only
Pattern Instruction
This pattern crochet with 2 strands together at the same time.You can use 1 big strand of yarn instead.
Coaster
Note: In this part inc = increase = 2 dc in same stitch
Rnd1: 4 ch, 12 dc in the 1st chain, sl :: 12 stitches
Rnd2: 3 ch, inc in next 12 st, sl :: 24 stitches
Rnd3: 3 ch, [dc in next st, inc] 12 times, sl :: 36 stitches
Rnd4: 3 ch, [dc in next 2 st, inc] 12 times, sl :: 48 stitches
Rnd5: 6 ch, hdc in next 4 st, skip1, sl in next 5 st,
skip1, 6 dc in same st, skip1, sl in next 5 st,
skip1, 5 dc in same st, skip1, sl in next 12 st,

Leaving the yarn extra long for 1 ear, so we can use the remaining to sew the head attach to coaster's body.
